Back to Gail Hall Recipe Index * Exported from MasterCook * Raspberry Poppyseed Salad Dressing Recipe By : Serving Size : Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Volume 12-07 Jul 2009 Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 tablespoon grated onion 3/4 cup sugar 1 teaspoon dry mustard 1 teaspoon salt 1/3 cup raspberry vinegar 1 cup vegetable oil 1 1/2 teaspoons poppy seeds Combine onion, sugar, mustard, salt and raspberry vinegar. Whirl in blender 15 seconds. Slowly add vegetable oil & poppy seeds. Turn blender on and off to mix. This is one of my favorites when entertaining. It's a sweet tart and wonderful over mixed greens. If you can't find raspberry vinegar just use white vinegar and a good tablespoon of seedless raspberry preserves or jam.
