Ham and Cheese Strata

2 cups pumpernickel bread -- diced
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese -- shredded
1/2 cup lean ham -- diced
1/2 cup onion -- chopped
2 eggs
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons horseradish mustard
Layer bread, ham, onions and cheese in that order in a small baking dish.
Beat eggs with mustard, then with milk. Pour over contents of
baking dish. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake uncovered at 325F. for 60 minutes.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
