Be careful with the water when you remove because it can easily explode. To this I add about six tea bags (and I only use Canadian tea bags because they make superior tea). Seal the jar and put away until you need to make tea. This will make about two quarts of iced tea - or you can spoon out and make it by the glass if you prefer. I don't like sweetened tea, but you can easily add sugar at the same time you add the tea bags and it will be ready to go - instant brewed iced tea. Jennie ---> Here's a hint, Jennie. If you stir the water before you start to microwave it and again once or twice during the heating, it won't have that tendency to 'explode'. H.
