* Exported from MasterCook * Pasta Cilantro Recipe By : Art Guyer Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Volume 8-05 May 2005 Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 box pasta, see note* 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup olive oil 1/2 cup cilantro leaves, chopped 1 bunch spring onions, finely chopped 1/2 teaspoon Canadian Steak Seasoning * Use your favorite kind. I like the ziti shape for this dish, but any will do. We also have been using the low-carb products made by Dreamfields. They don't taste like cardboard like some of the other "healthy" pasta products. You can adjust these measurements to your likening. Honestly, I never measure when I fix this -- just put in what seems right at the time. Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil and add about 1 teaspoon of salt. Cook your pasta as you like it, we prefer it a bit on the al dente side. Drain well, shaking it to get out trapped water. When thoroughly drained, drizzle in the olive oil, folding the pasta over gently until it is covered. Fold in the cilantro and onions; add the seasoning. You can substitute salt and pepper for the steak seasoning. I don't always add the onions.
