Key Lime Cake (Cake Mix)

3/4 cup oil
3/4 cup orange juice
5 eggs
3 ounces lime Jello powder -- (1 package)
1 box lemon cake mix -- 2 layer
1/4 cup lime juice
5 tablespoons powdered sugar
FROSTING
8 ounces cream cheese -- softened
4 tablespoons butter -- softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pound powdered sugar
Combine the oil, orange juice, eggs, Jello and cake mix, beating until
smooth. Pour into a greased and floured 9 X 13-inch pan and bake at 325
degrees F. for 20-30 minutes or until cake tests done. Do not over bake.
Take cake from oven and prick top all over with a fork. Combine lime juice
and powdered sugar, stirring until smooth and drizzle over the cake.
To make the frosting, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth; beat in
vanilla extract, then beat in the sugar until creamy consistency is
reached. Spread over cooled cake.
Serves 15.
