Gonzo's Ravioli Casserole
Recipe By :
Serving Size : Preparation Time :0:00
Categories : Volume 7-04 Apr 2004
Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
Ravioli
Hamburger
Cheese
Sauce
Celery
Green peppers
Garlic powder
Salt and pepper
I was looking at the recipe for the Ravioli Casserole and I made something
like it 2 weeks ago after watching a program on the food network. The only
difference was I added a layer of meat. It was wonderful. I purchased the
ravioli from Costco and just put a layer of Frozen Ravioli (I didn't cook
mine first) a layer of meat, some cheese, some sauce and another layer of
ravioli.
I just browned some hamburger, celery and green peppers, sprinkled with
some powdered garlic, garlic salt and pepper.
It really tasted like Lasagna, just so much easier to make.

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 large sweet onion, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 pounds turkey wings, smoked
water to cover wings
2 pounds green beans, fresh

Heat olive oil in a large, heavy pot. Saute onions until just
translucent. Add wings (or other smoked meat parts) and cover with
water. Bring to a boil; reduce to a simmer and cook for about an
hour.
Add green beans and cook until tender but still crisp. Remove pot
from heat and take wings from the pot. Pick off the meat from the
