* Exported from MasterCook * Nestle Holiday Fudge (With Variations) Recipe By : Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Volume 6-01 Jan. 2003 Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine 2/3 cup undiluted Evaporated Milk 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 cups miniature marshmallows -- 4 oz 2 cups Milk Chocolate Morsels -- 11 1/2-oz pkg 1/2 cup chopped pecans -- or walnuts 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract In heavy medium saucepan, combine butter, evaporated milk, sugar and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil 4-5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in marshmallows, morsels, nuts and vanilla. Stir vigorously 1 minute or until marshmallows are melted. Pour into foil-lined 8-inch square baking pan; chill until firm. Cut into 1 1/2-inch squares. Butterscotch Fudge: Substitute 2 cups (12-oz pkg) Butterscotch Flavored Morsels for milk chocolate morsels. Mint Fudge: Substitute 1 1/2 cups (10-oz pkg) Mint Flavored Chocolate Morsels for milk chocolate morsels. Semi-Sweet Fudge: Substitute 1 1/2 cups (9 oz) Semi-Sweet Morsels for milk chocolate morsels.
