Roll pastry out on a lightly floured surface to a rectangular shape. Cut into 8 triangular pieces. Cut each triangle in half. Blend the remaining ingredients until smooth. Spoon mixture onto 8 of the triangles of dough. Don't let it get too close to the edges. Moisten each triangle's edges with water then cover with another triangle of dough. Press edges together with a fork to seal. Pierce top with a fork's tines several times. Place on a cookie sheet and bake 12 to 15 minutes. Cool. "These are very portable snacks. Make them up ahead of time and freeze ..." From S.N.A.C.K.S. by Jan Brink & Melinda Ramm; 1984; New American Library. Hallie's comment: These could be interesting made with puff pastry. Instead of triangles you could use rounds folded in half; just put the filling on one half of the circle. MC format by Hallie. Untried.
