Yogie Pear Pops

16 ounces canned pears -- drained
[halves or slices]
8 ounces plain yogurt
3 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
A few drops of almond extract -- optional
Combine all the ingredients and blend or whirl in a food processor until
smooth. Distribute the mixture among five 5-ounce paper cups. Cover each
cup with aluminum foil. Make a small hole in the foil with a knife.
Insert a popsicle stick through the hole into the cup. Freeze 4 to 6 hours
or until firm.
To serve, remove the foil and tear the paper off.
Makes 5 servings.
