English Toffee Cheesecake

1 cup graham cracker crumbs
3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons margarine -- melted
24 ounces cream cheese -- softened
3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 English toffee candy bars -- ( 1 1/8 oz. each)
- coarsely chopped
Combine crumbs, granulated sugar and margarine; press onto batter of 9
inch springform pan. Bake at 350 F. for 10 minutes.
Combine cream cheese and brown sugar, mixing at medium speed on electric
mixer until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each
addition. Blend in vanilla; stir in 1/2 cup candy. Pour over crust. Bake
at 450 F. 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 250 F.; continue baking
25 minutes. Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim of pan.
Chill. Top cheesecake with remaining candy just before serving.
Makes 10-12 servings.
