1 pound ground beef
or ground turkey
1/2 cup salsa
as spicy as you like
1 can refried beans -- (large can)
1 cup green chilies -- chopped
[optional]
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 cup taco sauce
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup green onions -- chopped
1 cup black olives -- chopped
or green olives
Corn or tortilla chips Crumble and brown beef. Spread beans in a 9 x 13" pan. Top with salsa. Add drained browned beef and
sprinkle with chilies, then cover with cheese and drizzle with taco sauce. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees 20 minutes. Remove from oven, spread sour
cream then sprinkle with chopped green onions and olives. Serve warm with chips. This recipe can be modified to your particular likes. Debby is my SIL and a fine cook. She fixed this when we visited her a
couple of years ago. The only problem with it was I could NOT stop eating
