Start with a small (size of your hand), firm leaf 2. Remove thorns with a vegetable peeler or scrub with scouring pad 3. Trim rough edges of leaf with a paring knife or vegetable peeler 4. Slice pad thinly 5. Steam slices to desired consistency 6. Pat with paper towels if desired to remove sticky secretions 7. Continue with favorite nopales recipe Tips: 1.
