3 cups sugar
1/2 cup Butter flavored Crisco
1/2 pound butter -- no substitutions
5 large eggs
3 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 can evaporated milk -- plus enough water to make 1 cup
2 tablespoons vanilla-butter-nut flavoring Do not preheat the oven. Grease a bundt pan and set aside. Cream the sugar, butter and Crisco very well with electric mixer. Add one egg at
a time, beating well after each. Beat until light and fluffy. Add the dry
ingredients, alternating with the milk. Blend in the flavoring. Pour mixture
into bundt pan and put into cold oven. Set oven to 325 degrees Bake without peeking for a least 1 hour and 15 minutes, no longer than 1 1/2
