* Exported from MasterCook * Judy's Green Chile and Cheese Quiche Recipe By :Judy Howle Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Volume 4-1 Jan. 2001 Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/2 cups grated Monterey Jack cheese 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese 4 ounces chopped green chiles -- (1 can) 1 cup half and half 3 eggs -- slightly beaten 1/4 cup chopped onion 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon cumin 1 nine-inch pie crust -- partially baked [deep dish recommended] Sprinkle cheese over bottom of crust and spread chiles on top. Beat eggs with half and half, onion and seasonings. Pour over top. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes before cutting. NOTE : Chopped fresh tomatoes and sliced or diced black olives may be added too. Recipe courtesy of Judy Howle.
