Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

                        **See Tips Below**
* After opening cottage cheese or sour cream, store them upside
down in the refrigerator. They will stay fresh unbelievably longer.
* To get more juice out of a refrigerated lemon, microwave for 30
seconds. You will get a lot of juice and there is no need to pierce
the skin before microwaving.
* Freeze chicken, turkey, or vegetable stock in ice cube trays, and
then pop out the cubes and put them in Ziploc bags in the freezer.
That way, you can remove a few at a time as needed, instead of having
to thaw the whole amount at once. A few cubes work wonders as a base
for gravy, or for sauteing vegetables in a non-fat way. If you want
more, for a soup base for instance, simply thaw out more cubes.
* Spray your Tupperware with non-stick cooking spray before pouring in
tomato-based sauces-no more stains.
* Wrap celery in aluminum foil when putting in the refrigerator - it
will keep for weeks.
* When boiling corn on the cob, add a pinch of sugar to help bring out
the corn's natural sweetness.
* Don't throw out left over wine. Freeze into ice cubes for future
use in casseroles and sauces.
* Use a pastry blender to chop hard boiled eggs for macaroni or potato
salad. Just put the eggs in a bowl and chop as fine as you like, if
you keep chopping you'll have them diced for egg salad.
