* Exported from MasterCook * My Sauce Recipe By : Jennie Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Volume 2-10, Oct '99 Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 tablespoons olive oil 4 cloves garlic, minced 2 medium onions, chopped 6 large fresh tomatoes, peeled and seeded, -- chopped 2 cans diced tomatoes, and the juice 1 can tomato paste (6 oz.) 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped 1 tablespoon ground rosemary 1 cup chicken stock 1 cup dry white wine 4 tablespoons butter salt and pepper Sweat the garlic and onions in the olive oil, add the tomatoes, tomato paste, simmer. Add parsley, basil, rosemary, chicken stock and white wine. Cook for twenty minutes or until sauce thickens. Add butter and salt and pepper to taste. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES : If you do not have fresh tomatoes available, use all canned tomatoes.
