* Exported from MasterCook * Mango-Jalapeno Chutney Recipe By : Serving Size : Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Volume 13-12 Dec 2010 Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 (3/4-pound) unripe (to barely ripe) mango, peeled and chopped 1/3 seedless cucumber, peeled and chopped (3/4 cup) 1/2 cup chopped red onion 1 teaspoon minced fresh jalapeno with seeds -- (1 to 2) 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice 3 tablespoons thinly sliced mint 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro 1/4 teaspoon salt Toast cumin in a small skillet over medium heat for about a minute. Set aside. Combine all other ingredients. Sprinkle with the cumin, mix lightly. Serve immediately or will keep in the refrigerator for a day.
