* Exported from MasterCook * Northwest Cherry Salsa Recipe By : Margaret Slocum, Ridgefield, WA Serving Size : Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Volume 13-06 Jun 2010 Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup pitted dark sweet cherries -- fresh or frozen, chopped 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil 1 tablespoon green pepper -- finely chopped 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1/4 teaspoon grated lemon peel 1/8 teaspoon salt 1 dash hot pepper sauce Combine all ingredients; refrigerate at least 1 hour. Serve as a condiment with chicken turkey or pork.
