* Exported from MasterCook * La Truite Recipe By : The Centennial Food Guide Serving Size : 2 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Volume 12-06 Jun 2009 Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 rainbow trout [about 1 pound] Salt 2 Lemons -- juice of 1 glass Jamaica rum Place the trout on a large plate; salt the inside and outside. Squeeze the juice of 2 lemons over it and add a glass of Jamaica rum. Put it in the refrigerator to marinate for one hour. Wrap the fish tightly in aluminum foil; bake in a 500F oven for at least 30 minutes. Unwrap, place on a platter, cut the trout in half lengthwise and remove the bones.
