* Exported from MasterCook * Easy Moist Delicious Apple Sheet Cake Recipe By : Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Volume 11-05 May 2008 Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 cups flour 4 teaspoons baking powder 4 teaspoons cinnamon 2 teaspoons vanilla 1/2 teaspoon salt 4 eggs -- fork beaten 2 cups sugar 1 cup vegetable oil 5 medium apples -- peeled, seeded and sliced Whipped topping or whipped cream as garnish Most easy and delicious, oil-based moist cake. Flavors improve with age. Also freezes well. Mix all dry ingredients except the sugar. Beat eggs, oil, sugar and vanilla till smooth. Stir in dry ingredients to blend well. Fold in apples. Spread mixture in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake in a preheated 350F oven till done, about 45 to 55 minutes. Serve warm or cold. Top each piece with whipped cream or topping.
