Yum Yum Cake

2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 eggs
16 ounces crushed pineapple
ICING
1 stick butter
1 small can evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup coconut
1 teaspoon vanilla
In a mixing bowl, combine all cake ingredients and blend well. Pour into a
Pam sprayed 8- x 8-inch cake pan. Bake 40 to 50 minutes.
Combine all icing ingredients in sauce pan and bring to boil. Let boil for
two minutes and remove from heat; stir in nuts, coconut and vanilla.
While the cake is still hot, prick top with sharp pointed knife, pour icing
on. Let cool, cover with plastic wrap. Even better after standing for a
day.
